Run-Off Elections Coming Soon

Brownwood News – Run-off elections from the primary elections held in March are upcoming soon.  The run-off vote should have taken place in May, but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Run-off election day is now July 14, with early voting taking place from June 29 through July 10.  All voting on all days will take place at the Brown County Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk Ave., Brownwood.  On the ballot:

Republican Party

State Representative, District 60

Jon Francis

Glenn Rogers

Democratic Party

United States Senator

Royce West

Mary “MJ” Hegar

Railroad Commissioner

Roberto R. “Beto” Alonzo

Chrysta Castaneda

The voting schedule:

Early Voting

June 29 through July 2                   8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

July 6 through July 8                       8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

July 9 through July 10                     7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Election Day

July 14                                                 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
