Brownwood News – Two Severe Thunderstorm Watches are in effect this Wednesday afternoon and evening until 9:00 pm.

Brown County and all surrounding counties are included in the Watch area, meaning conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms which are capable or producing large hail, damaging wind and isolated tornadoes.

The National Weather Service in San Angelo advises to have a way to receive weather warnings this afternoon and a safe place to shelter should severe weather affect your area.

Another watch box includes Waco, Austin and College Station until 9:00 pm.
