Brownwood News – The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3278, American Legion Post 196 and the Veterans Memorial Board will host a Memorial Day Observance at the Central Texas Veterans Memorial on Monday, May 25, at 10:00 am.

In addition to the Observance, the ceremony will include dedicating the relocated Veterans Memorial Markers from the Brown County Courthouse lawn.  The names of the 11 Brown County veterans who were killed in Vietnam have been added to the granite memorials. There are some chairs. Please bring a lawn chair if you want.

Wearing of masks and social distancing is encouraged.
