Brownwood News – A two-month old child was killed in a wreck inside Coleman City limits.

According to the Coleman Chief of Police Anthony Smith, on Sunday, May 10th, Coleman Police Department Officers were dispatched to investigate a fatal motor vehicle crash at the intersection of N. Colorado Street and the U.S. 84 By-pass.

A 2004 gray Jeep Liberty towing a small utility trailer while travelling east on Colorado Street and failed to yield right of way at a stop sign.  A 2017 Ford F-150 travelling south on the U.S. 84 By-pass collided with the Jeep Liberty.

Both vehicles came to rest in the ditch on the east side of U.S. 84 bypass, with the Jeep Liberty resting on its top.

There were three occupants in the Jeep Liberty.  The driver was identified as 33- year- old Jeremy Ray Lizenbee, of Kerrville, TX.  The passengers were 21-year-old Kendra Robinson and a 2-month-old infant, also of Kerrville, TX.

The adult occupants of the Jeep Liberty were not wearing seat belts and the infant was not secured in a child safety seat, police say.  The two adults were transported to Coleman County Medical Center by ambulance, and later flown to Hendrick Medical Center.  Their conditions are unknown at report time.  The 2-month-old infant was pronounced deceased at Coleman County Medical Center.

The driver of the 2017 Ford F-150, identified as Benjamin Logsdon, of Llano was not injured.
