Raymond Pesina, 57 (Brownwood)

Funeral services for Raymond Garcia Pesina, age 57, of Brownwood, will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited to 50 family members.  Socially distanced viewing will take place on Friday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Greenleaf Cemetery.

Raymond passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in an Abilene hospital.

Raymond Garcia Pesina was born on August 11, 1962 in Hereford to Jesus Luna and Ofelia (Romero) Pesina.  He was a graduate of Crystal City High School.  Raymond married Cynthia Esquivel on December 4, 1981 in Brownwood.  He had a 30 plus year career with Kohler Company and was a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Raymond was devoted to his grandkids and a fan of Brownwood Lion Football.  He had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of the Iron Horse Riding Club.  Raymond was known to be a part of many groups that held benefits to help those in need.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cynthia of Brownwood; a daughter, Jennifer and husband Carlos Talamantez, a son, Raymond Pesina, Jr. and his baby dog, “Buster Bear”, three grandchildren, Angelica, Erica and Cristian Talamantez; his siblings, Elsa Pesina Martinez, Jessie Luna Pesina and David Pesina and his wife Jennifer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ofelia Pesina, daughter, Erica Pesina, brother, Ernest Pesina and Joaquin Pesina, Sr., Joaquin Pesina, Jr. and Librada Pesina.
