Brownwood News – The Brownwood ISD released the following information Wednesday afternoon.
- Governor Abbott has announced a Friday press conference to discuss several topics. We believe schools will be one of them. Stay tuned for details as we have them.
- Pre-K and Kindergarten pre-registration scheduled for April 21 and 22 are rescheduled to begin on May 4. This process will now be online. Directions and details will be available on www.brownwoodisd.org closer to the window opening.
- Instructional packet distribution and drop-off were a huge success, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation making it safe and efficient. Parents unable to attend are being contacted for alternative arrangements.
- Grading guidelines are being finalized and will be distributed soon. If your child has participated in off-campus instruction, everything will be fine; do not fear. If you have a child who has not been able to participate, please let us know how we can help. We are unable to award credit for zero participation.
- Brownwood ISD is currently accepting transfer requests for the 2020-2021 school year. Parents should visit www.brownwoodisd.org/transfers for application options. The deadline for application is Friday, May 8.
