Brownwood News – On Wednesday, March 25,  at approximately 6:00 pm, officers arrested Christopher Lee Nosek of Brownwood on multiple charges after several incidents occurred in Brownwood and Early.  According to Brown County jail records, Nosek was still in jail as of 10:00 am Thursday on bonds totaling $142,000.  He is 40 years of age.

According to City of Early Police Chief, David Mercer, at approximately 540 pm officers responded to a reported man with a gun call in the 100 block of Autumn drive where the caller reported a man was beating on the door and windows of a house with a hand gun. The caller reported that the resident opened the door and the man, who was later identified as Nosek, forced his way inside. Nosek assaulted the resident at that address then, while leaving, confronted a neighbor outside who was getting his mail. Nosek pointed the gun at the neighbor and stated “you want some of this?” Nosek then got in his vehicle and fled the scene while driving through several neighbors’ yards, according to Chief Mercer.

The police report continues stating Nosek then went to a residence in the 500 block of Longhorn and rammed a vehicle in the driveway then got out and stabbed two (2) tires on the victim’s vehicle.  Further, while holding the gun, Nosek began trying to beat on the front door to get in. Nosek then left the residence while multiple 911 calls came in with a vehicle description and information regarding the incidents.

A Brown County Deputy located and stopped the vehicle near the 100 block of Longhorn, Nosek exited the vehicle and aggressively approached the Deputy causing the deputy to deploy his taser at which time Nosek was taken into custody.

According to Chief Mercer, Brownwood Police had previously received a call regarding Nosek who then went on a rampage of domestic violence toward relatives or families associated to the family.

Nosek was treated for minor injuries at the Emergency Room then was booked into the Brown County Jail for Burglary of Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault, Deadly Conduct, Stalking and Possession of Marijuana on the Early Police Department charges.
