Lynn Mitchell, 84 (Bangs)

Lynn Mitchell, age 84, of Bangs passed away March 20, 2020, in Abilene.

Due to the Covid-19 virus private family services are being held in the Bangs Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Condolences for the family are encouraged at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.

Lynn was born on December 15, 1935, to Charles and Evie Mitchell in Tipton, OK. Lynn retired from 3M, after retiring from 3M he owned his own heating and air conditioning business.

He was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church. Lynn loved flying, but most of all he loved his family and friends.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Linda Mitchell of Bangs; children, Anna Lovell and husband Kevin of Bangs, Sherri Booth Mayfield and husband James of Stephenville, Melissa McDaniel and husband Ricky of Bangs, Sherrie James and husband Rodney of Bangs, Tammie Lail and husband Donne of Joshua, Kenny Hogan of Keene, Mark Hogan and wife Marie of Granbury; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evie; and one daughter, Hanna Jo Reece.
