Attention Patients and Family Members:

Your safety and that of our providers is critical to ensure you receive quality medical care. Our hospital, physicians and employees have proactively prepared to respond and provide care related to the new coronavirus, COVID-19.

We are intently focused on preparedness and maintaining a safe environment for our patients, employees and physicians.

As part of this preparedness, additional access restrictions have been implemented:

  • Additional Visitor and Patient access restrictions in to the hospital:
    • Visitor Access-The Main (North) Entrance Monday through Friday from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm visitor/patient screening required
    • Access – Emergency Room Walk-in Entrance Monday through Friday from 6:00 am – 10:00 pm required visitor/patient screening.
  • Only Access into the hospital on Saturday and Sunday will be through Emergency Walk in Entrance off Streckert Drive – The Main Entrance access will be closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Emergency Patients will continue to enter the Emergency Walk-in Entrance – Required Screening of Patients and Visitors (Please only one visitor per Emergency Room Patient)
  • Each visitor will log in and log out of the same entrance/exit. Each visitor must be age 18 and over
  • If a visitor leaves the hospital, no visitor may re-enter after 5:00 pm.
  • Only 2 visitors per patient at any time of day; however, ICU and ER will only be allowed one visitor at a time. (Exceptions to visitor count will be made on a case by case basis)
  • Patients in isolation will have additional visitor restrictions.

We need your help to minimize exposure to infectious or communicable diseases.

Only 2 symptom free visitors such as: immediate family, partner or significant other ages 18 and older may visit patients at one time; however, ICU and ER patients may only have one visitor at one time.

If someone has traveled from a high-risk area for COVID-19, has had contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19, has a cough, fever or difficulty breathing; they will not be allowed to visit unless seeking medical care themselves.

All visitors are asked to practice infection prevention.

  • Sanitize hands when entering the hospital and when entering or exiting patient rooms.
  • Cover coughs or sneezes with elbow or a tissue and dispose of used tissues in the trash.
  • Sanitize hands after coughing or sneezing.

Staying in touch with family members is important and we encourage you to use phone, email, text, Skype and Facebook. Flowers, gifts, cards or other remembrances can be dropped off at the front desk and we will deliver to the patient room.
