Grady Eugene Boyd, of Lake Brownwood, Texas passed from this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 7:15 am at his residence at the age of 92 years.

Services will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Roy Knowles officiating.  Interment will follow with Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman in charge of arrangements.

Grady was born February 7, 1928 in Silver Valley, Coleman County, Texas to William and Ommie C Williams Boyd.  He was raised in Coleman County attending and graduating from Coleman Schools.  Grady served his country in the United States Army during World War II.  He was a longtime active member of the Concho Baptist Church the Lake Brownwood Volunteer Fire Department and Lions Club.

Grady was co-owner and operator of Lakeshore Welding, owner of Smokehouse BBQ, owner and operator of Boyd Truck and Backhoe Service at Lake Brownwood for many years.  He was a very hardworking man, lovingly caring for his family and would help anyone in need.
