Marie Estelle (Luman) Priddy, 98

Marie Estelle (Luman) Priddy, age 98, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020.

Family visitation will be held at Heartland Funeral Home on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at Bangs cemetery.

Marie was born March 9, 1921, at Sipe Springs in Comanche County. Her parents were Henry W. and Willie M. Luman. When she was a young girl her family moved to McDaniel community in Brown County where she completed school through 9th grade.  Her family owned a prominent fruit farm in McDaniel community, which was widely known throughout the area.  Marie Luman married John E. Priddy on November 24, 1936 in Brown County.  They were blessed with one son, Norman E. Priddy.

Marie is survived by her son, Norman E. Priddy of San Angelo; grandsons, Greg Priddy and wife Reba of San Angelo, Danny Priddy and wife LaMyone of Boerne; great grandchildren, Chelsea Gunnels and husband Jay, Lauren Yonkin and husband Brian, Trenton Priddy and wife Stacia; three great great grandchildren, Peri Yonkin, Elly Priddy and Quinn Yonkin; sister, Juanita Strohm; sister-in-law June Luman Winfrey and her extended family Larry and Dina Mitchell, Thomas and Melanie Wingo, Tyler, Tyson & Tegan Wingo, and special friend Dennis Winfrey who visited her weekly at the nursing home.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband John Priddy, her parents, brother H. W. Luman Jr., and sisters May Hodges, Oleta Cambron, Clara Hall; brothers-in-law, Joe Strohm and Charles Winfrey; daughter-in-law Rojuana Priddy.
