Brownwood News – Funeral services are pending for a woman who was involved in an auto accident Monday morning a few miles south of Early on Highway 84/183.

Angela Coleman New, 34 of Early, passed away as a result of the accident.  Her funeral services are pending with Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

New was driving her children to school in Zephyr when, according to the DPS, she swerved to avoid a rear-end collision with another vehicle.  The SUV went through a guardrail on the west side of the road, rolling several times.

The children, ages 5, 11, 13 and 15, were taken to BRMC for treatment.
