Barbara Ann Pierce, 79 (Brownwood)

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Pierce, age 79, of Brownwood, will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 5, 2020 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Hall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery near Bangs.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Mrs. Pierce died Sunday, March 1, 2020, in Brownwood.

Barbara Ann Crane was born in Houston on June 22, 1940 to Claude Lawrence and Mary Olga (Briggs) Crane.  She married Willey Samuel Tomlinson in Houston in June of 1958.  They would live all over the United States as Sam served as a Pentecostal preacher in many churches during their 48 years of marriage.  Barbara would later marry Vic Pierce in Brownwood in March of 2008.  She was a member of Haven of Hope Church on Brownwood.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Vic Pierce of Brownwood, two daughters, Vicky Cole of Yukon, Oklahoma and Debbie Henley of Onalaska, Texas, two step-children, Vicki Pierce and Stephen Pierce, fourteen grandchildren, and two sisters, Joyce Davis and Vera Cowart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Sam Tomlinson, a daughter, Gwenoa Fults, a son, Frank Tomlinson and a brother, Wayne Richardson.
