Brownwood News – The following calls were included in the Brownwood Police Department Offense and Incident Report.

On 2/26/2020 at approximately 08:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Main Street for a call of fraud. Brownwood Police made an arrest for falsification of a drug test result.

On February 26, 2020, Officer Lee was made aware of school staff locating an electronic cigarette, fluid to an electronic cigarette and a charger for an electronic cigarette. Juvenile was issued a citation.

On 2/26/2020 at 18:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Blk. of N. Main St. in reference to public intoxication. A man was arrested for Public Intoxication with three (3) prior convictions.

On 2-26-20 at approximately 20:30 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the police department to speak with a complainant regarding a theft. A suspect was identified and an active report was generated.

02/11/2020 – Dog at 800 blk 1st St., had broken through fence line and attacked a German Sheppard. A citation was issued for Unrestrained Dog.

On Tuesday February 25, 2020, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Ave B in reference to a vehicle burglary. Information was gathered from scene and a report was generated.

On Tuesday February 25, 2020, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 14th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. An investigation ensued and one individual was placed in custody. A report was generated.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at approximately 19:08 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to the 1200 block of Durham Ave in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.  Officer Weaver arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and a report has been made.
