John Ambrosek, 74 (Bangs)

John Ambrosek, age 74, of Bangs passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in Dallas.

A visitation for John will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Blaylock Funeral Home.

Private Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

John was born to George and Marjori (Dees) Ambrosek on November 30, 1945, in Ventura, CA. He joined the United States Army in January of 1964 and retired after 24 years of service in June of 1988. John was a clerk for 7-11 Convenient Stores for many years. He loved fishing, bowling, and any other sport activities.

John is survived by his wife, Jean Ambrosek of Bangs;  3 daughters, Johnna Lowden and husband Joel of , Rhonda Rhoades of Ohio, Cindy Cain and husband Dennis of Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Sierra Lowden, Kolwyn Lowden, Anna Helfen, and Adam Foster; 3 brothers, Jim Ambrosek, Gordon Ambrosek, and Patrick Ambrosek; and 2 sisters, Carol Jordan and Janet Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Marjori Ambrosek; 1 brother, Jeff Ambrosek; and 1 sister, Barbara Dees.
