Brownwood News – As of the 5:00 pm deadline Friday, February 14, 2020 six candidates filed for the Brown County Water Improvement District #1 Board.  The director election will take place on May 2nd.

Current directors James E. McMillian, Jimmy Jones and Dennis W. Graham will face challengers Johnny Hays, Tommy Davis and Frank Niemiec.  The BCWID#1 Board will have three (3) spots open so the top 3 vote getters will be elected.
