Jeremy Serna of Brownwood captured the Best Overall Award with his painting of a downtown building, completed during the Paint-Off competition held Saturday on the final day of the 22nd annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit. The judge for the event was Barbara Rallo of San Angelo, coordinator for EnPleinArtTEXAS. The prize came with a $500 cash award sponsored by Big Country Ford-Lincoln. A record high 29 artists participated.

Steve Miller of Grand Prairie won the Award of Excellence Award with his painting of an old truck in front of mountains, completed during the Paint-Off competition held Saturday on the final day of the 22nd annual Stars of Texas Juried Art Exhibit. The judge for the event was Barbara Rallo of San Angelo, coordinator for EnPleinArtTEXAS. The prize came with a $250 cash award sponsored by Big Country Ford-Lincoln. A record high 29 artists participated.
