Brownwood News – On Thursday, February 6, at approximately 9:30 am, a traffic stop was conducted by Brownwood Police in the 4400 block of River Oaks Drive for a minor traffic violation.

According to a statement from Brownwood Police – The officer made contact and identified the driver as Nellie Ann Cramer, 33, of Brownwood.  Cramer was traveling with her 3 year-old son.  While conducting the traffic stop and interview, police say Cramer admitted to possessing a small amount of marijuana and two marijuana smoking pipes.  Cramer handed the items to officers and, with this admission, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

A search was conducted of Cramer’s vehicle and a vinyl container was located that contained a methamphetamine smoking pipe and other paraphernalia items.  Additionally, a pill bottle was located that contained various types of miscellaneous pills that were confirmed to be dangerous drugs.

Cramer was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail. Her son was picked up by family members.  While at the jail, a small baggy containing suspected methamphetamine was also located.
