Brownwood News – On Sunday, February 2, 2020, at approximately 10:10 pm officers with the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to the Dollar General Store in the 2000 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding a report of an Aggravated Robbery.

Upon arrival, officers learned that an unknown male entered the store and stated that he had a gun and demanded money.  The male spoke primarily to one employee and told her more than once that he had a gun and would shoot her if she did not comply.  Once he received the money he ran out the door and out of view.

The suspect is described as slender and tall; upwards of 6 ft.  No facial descriptors or tattoos were noted.
