Sherry Lynn Cummings, 67 (Brownwood)

Sherry Lynn Cummings, age 67, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services for Sherry will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with David Barnum officiating; private interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Sherry was born on May 26, 1952, to Harold Lloyd and Carolyn (Gunn) Allgood in Brownwood. She worked at Roto Cast for years, then went to work at 3M for over 20 years, retiring in 2007.

Sherry attended Grosvenor Baptist Church. She had a very green thumb, she loved plants and rooting plants. She also enjoyed painting and crocheting. Sherry had a very generous heart, always doing for others.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Billy Cummings of Brownwood; children, Dwayne Crysler of Abilene, Danny Crysler and wife Jennifer of Brownwood, David Crysler and wife Rosaleigh of Brookesmith, Jason Haws and wife Ashley of Brookesmith, Marla Worsham and husband Chase of Brownwood; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; mother, Carolyn Allgood; 5 sisters; and 1 brother. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Allgood; and 1 sister.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital (501 St Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105-9959).
