Stanley Wayne Kruse, 77, of Coleman, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Coleman County Medical Center.  There will be a visitation for family and friends from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Dr. Chas Shira, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Stanley Wayne Kruse was born January 14, 1943 in Snyder to Hoyle Stanley Kruse and Bernelle Davis Kruse.  He grew up and attended schools in Snyder, Ira and Midland.  Stanley worked in the oil field as a tool pusher.  After retiring, Stanley moved to Coleman in 2003 from Odessa.  He enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Survivors include four children, Mike Kruse of Midland, Tracy Lane Kruse of Colorado City, Drae Michelle Kruse Chaney of Lubbock, Ashley Kruse of Arkansas; one brother, Jerry Kruse of Odessa; one sister, Patricia Nix of Snyder and one grandson, Landon Chaney.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
