Sentences Handed Down in 35th District Court

According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, the following cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.

Jerry Ray Griffis, pled no contest to the felony offenses of Driving While Intoxicated and Intoxication Assault and was sentenced to Forty (40) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Brice Antonio Lashawn Davis, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon was adjudicated and sentenced to Sixteen (16) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Vincent Anthony Asciutto, pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Matthew Gipson, pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to Ten (10) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Kimberlee Adams, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone was revoked and sentenced to Seven (7) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Daniel Ray Doyle, Jr., on probation for the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jeffery Shane Hamill, Jr., on probation for the felony offenses of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Hamill, on probation for two separate state jail felony offenses of Burglary of a Building was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Abel Ray Perez, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Enhanced was revoked and sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

James Adam Jimenez, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance­Drug Free Zone was adjudicated and sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Miranda Davidson, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Christopher Allen, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Eighteen (18) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division .

Julio Velez Torro, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Ryan Wesley Parks, pled guilty to the state jail felony offenses of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

John David Goodman, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Burglary of a Building was revoked and sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Kassie Sherrin aka Kassie Watts, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle was revoked and sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Brian Keith Lancaster, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was adjudicated and sentenced to Eight (8) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division
