Brownwood News – Brown County Republican Party Chair, Robert Porter, is shown in the photo with Brown County Elections Administrator, Larry Franks.  Two local unopposed JP candidates from Brown County and three other representatives of state and national candidates attended to participate and draw for the order that candidates will appear on the March 3, 2020 Republican Primary ballot.  Candidates represented included Dwayne Stovall for U.S. Senate, August Pfluger for U.S. House and Dr. Glenn Rogers for Texas House of Representatives.  Election officials began with the race for President and worked their way down the ballot.  This same process is being carried out on the county level throughout Texas.
