Brownwood News – The following offense and incident reports were included on the Monday, December 16, report from the Brownwood Police Department.
On Monday, December 9, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood business in the 2800 block of South U.S. Highway 377 for a theft report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 1400 block of Coggin Ave in reference to narcotics that were found. The narcotics were seized and a report was completed.
On Friday, December 13, 2019, at approximately 12:22 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 400 block of W Commerce in reference to a theft that had occurred two days prior. A report was generated.

On 12/13/2019 at 18:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Blk. of Austin Ave. in reference to theft. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.
On 12/13/2019 at 19:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 4100 Blk. of Glenwood Dr. in reference to an assault. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.
On 12-13-19 at approximately 19:26 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to a welfare check call at the intersection of 3rd St and Coggin Ave. During this call, a male subject was found to be asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle in the roadway. After an investigation, the driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to the Brown County Jail.
On Saturday, December 14, 2019 at approximately 19:12 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 400 block of West Commerce in reference to theft. A report was generated for this incident.
On Saturday December 14, 2019 at approximately 20:50 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a North Brownwood address in the 300 block of Center Avenue in reference to Disorderly Conduct. One subject was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
On 12/14/2019 at 23:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2000 Blk. of Southside Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A man was arrested for assault family violence.
On Sunday, December 15, 2019, at approximately 12:44 hours, Officer Donahoo FTO Risdon, Officer Davis and Cpl. Chrisman were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Commerce in reference to a burglary. A report was completed.
