Brownwood News – (contributed) The Pecan Valley Republican Women cordially invite you to their monthly meeting on November 21st at 6 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Texas State Technical College, 305 Booker St.(entrance at the back), Brownwood, TX 76801.

The guest speaker Konni Burton is the Founder and CEO of the Texan.  The Texan is a statewide news outlet focused on the stories that matter most to Texans and their pocketbook.  It has news that you may not hear from other sources so we encourage you to visit us on November 21st at 6 pm and meet Konni personally and ask her questions you may have regarding The Texan.

Konni Burton previously was a grassroots activist who worked on numerous campaigns for local, state and federal races.  Konni then went on to run for office and was elected in 2014 to serve Tarrant County’s Senate District 10 in Austin.  Her experience as a grassroots activists, elected official, and taxpaying citizen provides a unique and valuable perspective on the political landscape in Texas.

You are not required to be a member to attend.  Light refreshments will be served.
