Local Surgeon Named BRMC Physician of the 3rd Quarter

Brownwood News – Dr. Eric Wiley, General Surgeon at Brownwood Regional Medical Center (BRMC) has been chosen as the Physician of the 3rd Quarter 2019. He was nominated and voted on by the staff for his dedication and quality care provided to his patients and the support he shows daily to the BRMC staff members. Staff said, “Dr. Wiley has a positive attitude and they appreciate the time he takes with his patients.”

Dr. Wiley has over 17 years’ experience performing a variety of general surgery procedures, including minimally invasive laparoscopy which means less pain and faster recovery for many patients. As an active Medical Staff member at Brownwood Regional Medical Center, he served as Chief of Surgery in 2017 and has received numerous recognitions since 2002.

Jace Jones, CEO of Brownwood Regional Medical Center, stated, “We appreciate Dr. Wiley for his dedication to our patients in meeting their surgical needs.  It is also an honor to be chosen as Physician of the Quarter because the physician is nominated and voted on by our staff.  Dr. Wiley leads daily by example proving his commitment to quality of care for our patients.  Congratulations Dr. Wiley.!”
