Brownwood School Resource Officer’s Fred Bastardo and Robert Lee, along with Maintenance employee Stan Pachall, presented the SRO’s ‘Golden Donut’ award to BISD Maintenance employees John Smiley and Mandy Roesler.

The award is a roving award presented to BISD employees who demonstrate a commitment to school safety and security within the District. Mr. Smiley and Ms. Roesler were instrumental in upgrading door locks at elementary campuses.

The Brownwood Police Department thank Mr. Smiley and Ms. Roesler, along with the entire maintenance team, for a job well done!
