Claud M. “Tob” Harr, 91 (Zephyr)

Claud “Tob” Harr, age 91, of Zephyr passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral Services for Claud will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Taylor officiating; burial with Military Honors will follow at the Zephyr Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Claud was born to Emanuel Jeptha and Nettie A Della (Hall) Harr on March 2, 1928, in Divot, Texas. He graduated from Dilley High School and went on to graduate from Sul Ross University with a degree in Agriculture. Claud served in the United States Army and is a Korean War veteran.

Claud married the love of his life, Jimi Frances Clark, on September 21, 1958, in Valentine, Texas. He was an animal inspector for USDA; he retired after working there for 30 years. After retirement, he was a ranch foreman for 18 years. Claud enjoyed ranching.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jimi Frances Harr of Zephyr; four daughters, Tera and Tom of Austin, Amy and Vince of College Station, Lori and Robb of Brady, and Lisa of Austin; 9 grandchildren, Seth and Zephyr, Tiffany, Bailey, Parker, Carson, Rhayce, Miles, Nolan, and Oliver; great-grandson, Boen; and sister, Wilma Ridge of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Claud was preceded in death by his parents, “E.J.” and Nettie Harr; 6 sisters; and 2 brothers.
