Brown County Commissioners to Meet Tuesday – Agenda Posted

Brownwood News – Due to the Columbus Day holiday on Monday, October 14, the regular meeting of Brown County Commissioners will take place on Tuesday, October 15, at 9:00 am in the county courthouse.  The meeting agenda is below.

1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
2. Prayer
3. Citizen Comments
(All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on October 6, 2014. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)

4. Consideration and approval of minutes.
5. Presentation of Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report.
6. Consideration and Approval of Payment of any bills needed

7. Consideration and Approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:
A. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
B. Judge Stephen Ellis, 35th Judicial Court — Review and possible approval of Revised Master lnterlocal Agreement for Brown County Participation in TechShare
C. Judge Stephen Ellis, 35th Judicial Court — Consideration and possible approval of Software as a Service Addendum for TechShare
D. Judge Stephen Ellis, 35th Judicial Court — Consideration and possible approval of purchase of necessary sound equipment for the courtroom
E. Dr. Paul Lilly, Brown County Judge- Recognition of Veterans Service Officer James Masters appointment to the National Veteran’s Service Committee;
F. Dr. Paul Lilly, Brown County Judge – Consideration and possible approval of contract and agreement for hold-over detention services of juvenile offenders between Brown County and Stephens and Young Counties;
G. Jim Cavanaugh, Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 – Consideration and possible approval of renewal of contract with Graves Humphries Stahl for Court Collections Service
H. Lisa Dick, Administrator, Brown County Health Department – Consideration and possible approval of a resolution confirming the county funding of the Home-Delivered Meal Program
I. Johnathan Harvey, Brown County Child Welfare Board – Consideration and possible confirmation of the appointment of Travis Curry and Angela Dawson to the Child Welfare Board
J. Misty Hill, Partnership Specialist 2020 Census – Consideration and possible approval of a resolution supporting the 2020 census

Adjournment
Agenda items may be considered, deliberated, and/or acted upon in a different order than set forth above. The Brown County Commissioners Court reserves the right to discuss any above items in executive (closed) session whenever permitted by the Texas Open Meeting Act.
