Juvenile Arrested in Brownwood for Possession of THC Oil

Brownwood News – The following calls for service were answered by Brownwood Police and Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Brownwood Police Report:  On Wednesday, 10/9/19 at 11:25 hours, while on duty at 2100 Slayden (Brownwood High School), Officer Bastardo found that a student was in possession of an electronic cigarette and also THC Oil.   The Juvenile was issued a citation for the electronic cigarette and taken into custody for the THC Oil Poss CS PG 2 <1.   He was transported to the Brown County Jail, processed, and then released to the jail staff on duty.

On 10/09/2019 at approximately 18:00 hours, Brownwood Police Officer Wells was dispatched to 1500 Terrace Drive for a call of assault of juvenile. Brownwood Police made a report for further investigation.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, Officer Thompson responded to the 1700 block of Magnolia in reference to a package being stolen off the porch. After speaking with the calling party, a report was generated.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at approximately 12:06 hours,  Officer Donahoo and Sgt. Miller were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in regard to a criminal mischief. An investigation and a report were completed.

Sheriff Department Report:

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at about 15:54 hours, Deputy Simpson and Lt. Bastardo received a walk-in complaint in regards to an assault which occurred at 13:00.  A woman stated her son was assaulted by his cousin in the 6300 block of County Road 237.  Deputy Simpson made contact with the victim and noticed multiple injuries on him.  The officers attempted to make contact with the suspect at CR 237 without success.  A report was made.
