Early City Council in Session Tuesday Evening

Brownwood News – The City Council of the City of Early will be in session at 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 8, at Early City Hall.  The agenda follows.

A. Call to order, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance
B. Consideration of the minutes for regular meeting held on September 24, 2019.
C. Citizen’s comments.

D. Matters of New Business
1. Consideration to approve surplus or salvage items for sale or disposal. By: Nathan Land
2. Discuss and consider adoption of Ordinance 2019-13, authorizing the issuance and sale of City of Early, Texas general obligation refunding bonds, Series 2019; establishing procedures and delegating authority for the sale and delivery of the bonds; levying an annual Ad Valorem Tax for the payment of said bonds; providing an effective date; and enacting other provisions relating to the subject. 3. Consideration to approve Resolution 2019-R08, regarding a financing contract for the purpose of procuring a Street Sweeper. By: Tony Aaron

E. Executive Session in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code:
1. Section 551.072, Deliberation regarding Real Property.
2. Section 551.087, Deliberation regarding Economic Development.
F. Reconvene into Open Session and consider action, if any, on items discussed in executive session.
