Brownwood News – 10:00 am Thursday UPDATE – Mary Diane Abbas is still at large.  Law enforcement are continuing to search.

Update to Story – According to Coleman County Sheriff, Les Cogdill, as of 12:25 am Thursday morning, Mary Diane Abbas is yet to be captured.  A warrant has been issued for her arrest with the charge being escape.

Coleman County and City of Coleman Law Enforcement, as of 7:28 pm Wednesday, were attempting to locate an escaped inmate.  Mary Diane Abbas was last seen at Coleman County Medical Center wearing an orange and white jumpsuit.  She is described as 5′ 3″, 135 lbs, brown hair, blue eyes, has tattoo on left ankle.  Additional law enforcement have arrived in Coleman to assist in the search, including Brown County officers.  As of 9:10 pm Wednesday, the woman was still at large.
