Brownwood News – The Brownwood Municipal Development District board will have their monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 17^th, 2019, at 1:30 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  After calling the meeting to order, the agenda is as follows:

16. The BMDD Board may convene into a closed executive session in the Haynes Conference Room, pursuant to the provisions of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Government Code Vernon’s Annotated, in accordance with the authority contained in the following section:

Section 551.072 – Deliberation regarding real property

Section 551.087 – Deliberations regarding economic development negotiations

1. The Board will discuss possible purchase of real estate related to retail development.
2. The Board will discuss a possible Building Improvement Incentive Program (BIIP) grant for a local business.
3. The Board will reconvene into Regular Session in the City Council Chambers to take any action deemed necessary as result of the Executive Session.
