Brownwood News – The City of Early City Council met Tuesday evening, September 10.

The Council appointed three board members to the Early Planning and Zoning Commission.  They are Gary Stovall, Brian Callaway and Gordon Warren.

In the area of Economic Development, the Council passed a grant application Resolution from Hummingbird Hemp.  The business opened recently in the new shopping area behind Chicken Express.

The Council approved Resolutions for loans for purchase of real property at 405 Early Blvd. and property at Early Blvd. and C.C. Woodson.

The Early City Council also passed a Resolution in support of the U.S. Census Bureau 2020 complete count effort.

The City of Early Police Department will participate in National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1.  So far, seven neighborhoods in Early are participating in National Night Out.
