Patricia Ann Bennie, 68 (Brownwood)

A graveside funeral service for Patricia Bennie, age 68, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Jenkins Springs Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Mrs. Bennie went home to the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

Patricia met and married the love of her life, Jessie Bennie on February 11, 1966.  They were married for 53 years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved being with her family.  She loved her crafts and her collection of clothing and shoes.  Patricia always wanted to look nice.  She never met a stranger and was kind to everybody.  She leaves behind a loving husband, Jessie Bennie, a daughter, Tina Dudley and husband Bobby, a daughter, Tonya Tarrant and husband Scott, A son Tony Bennie and wife Barbie; seven grandchildren, Stephanie and Chaz Bastardo, Dustin Tarrant, Dillon Bennie, Aaron Bennie, Levi Bennie, two sisters, Norma Jo Shirley and Wanda Hinson and husband Vernon and numerous nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind many family and friends who loved her dearly.

Patricia was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Dudley, her parents, Joe and Bea Rouse, a brother, Robert Rouse and a sister, Nell Fellers.

In lieu of flowers, go make a memory with your family in her honor.
