Funeral services for Grace Krischke, age 94, of Brownwood, will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.  Mrs. Krischke died Saturday, August 17, 2019 in a local nursing facility.

Grace LaRue West was born near Lohn, Texas on May 1, 1925 and graduated from Lohn School in 1942.  She married David B. Krischke in 1944.  Grace was an active member of the Brownwood Regional Hospital Auxiliary, the Rotary Ann Club and the Austin Avenue Church of Christ.  She also enjoyed playing golf and travelling.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband in 2000 and a son in 2018.

She is survived by one brother, one son and daughter-in-law; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
