Brownwood News – The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Early Chamber of Commerce will host a joint August luncheon featuring presentations from local area school districts as the new school year kicks off.

The luncheon will be from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, August 16, at the Brownwood Country Club.  The buffet at 11:30 is $14.  The program will begin at 12:00 noon.

Presenters will give a preview of the upcoming school year, a look at their district’s budget and a look back at accomplishments from the previous school year.  Brownwood ISD Superintendent Dr. Joe Young, Early ISD Superintendent Wes Beck, and Bangs ISD Superintendent Tony Truelove are scheduled to speak.

A question and answer session will also be available.

The luncheon is sponsored by Baird Brothers Express Car Wash, Brownwood Bulletin and Farmers Insurance Dustin Larremore Agency.
