Brownwood News – The DeLeon Peach and Melon Festival is underway through Saturday, August 10.  The schedule of events is as follows:

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7
11:00 am – Judging of 4-H cake entries – Festival Stage
12:00 pm – Judging of Peach desserts – Festival Stage
1:00 pm – Judging of Melons and Fruits – Festival Stage
6:00 pm – Triple T Amusement Carnival – Festival Grounds
7:00 pm – Street Parade – Downtown
8:30 pm – Kids Tractor Pull – Festival Grounds
8:30 pm – Queen Coronation – Festival Stage
9:00 pm – Melon and Cake Auction

THURSDAY, August 8
6:00 pm – Triple T Amusement Carnival – Festival Grounds
8:00 pm – Walt Wilkins ($10) – Festival Stage

Friday, August 9
6:00 pm – Triple T Amusement Carnival – Festival Grounds
7:30 pm – Tractor Pulls OTTPA and TTTPA – Festival Arena
8:00 pm – DJ/Karaoke by David C – Festival Stage

Saturday, August 10
7:00 am – 5K Watermelon Crawl – Downtown (FBC)
8:00 am – 42 Tournament – City Hall Auditorium
9:00 am – Golden Saturday – Downtown
1:00 pm – Seed Spitting Contest – Downtown
3:00 pm – Watermelon Slicing – FREE – Downtown
6:00 pm – Triple T Amusement Carnival – Festival Grounds
7:30 pm – Tractor Pulls OTTPA and TTTPA – Festival Arena
8:30 pm – Matt Hillyer and Phil Pritchett ($10) – Festival Stage
10:00 pm – Miss DeLeon Announced – Festival Stage

Carnival Bracelets every night / Pre-sale $25 / Day of $30 / good from 6 pm to Close
