Terry Bob Parks, 49 (Coleman)

Terry Bob Parks, 49, of Coleman, died Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Abilene Regional Medical Center in Abilene.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Louise Strength officiating.  Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Terry Bob Parks was born September 28, 1969 in Lubbock to Bennie Parks and Donna Russell Parks.  Terry grew up in Coleman and attended Coleman schools.  He worked in the oil field as a rough neck.  Terry liked fishing when he could and loved his family and was always joking around with them and his friends.

Survivors include three children, Marissa Hamon of Coleman, Kelli Renee Bates of Coleman, Brenitt Bates of Coleman; his mother, Donna Parks of Coleman and three siblings, Peggy Johnson of Coleman, Billy Parks of Huntsville, Rosie Watts of Burkett.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Braydon Bates of Coleman, Haizlee Hamon of Coleman, several aunts, one uncle and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Parks, three brothers, Larry Parks, Donald Parks, Bobby Parks and one sister, Bonnie Lanham.
