Brownwood News – The following calls for service were answered by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and included in the media report issued on Friday, August 2.
On Thursday, August 1, at about 10:42 hours, a Deputy took a call in regards to a man who said he was being harassed by a woman. The man stated the woman was trying to get him to fix her phone. Contact was attempted with the woman, without success. A report was made.
On August 1, a Deputy responded to BRMC for a report of a dog bite. The Deputy met with a man who said he was bitten by his friend’s dog. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On Thursday, August 1, at 07:00 hours, a Deputy was dispatched to Highway 279 in Brownwood. This was in regards to active fire at this location. An information report was taken.
