Victim Claims His Obama Phone Was Taken from Mailbox

Brownwood News – The following reports were included on the Brown County Sheriff’s Department report released on Tuesday, July 30.

On July 27, at about 06:13 hours, a Deputy arrived in the 4500 block of FM 2525 in Brownwood.  This was in regards to a traffic hazard.  The Deputy observed the guard rail over Steepe Creek had heavy damage and was peeled into the roadway blocking the southbound side of the roadway.  The Deputy observed a white Jeep was parked in the 3400 block of FM 2525 with damage to the back passenger side wheel, rim and body, consistent with hitting the guard rail.  The vehicle was registered to a woman (suspect) from Brownwood.

On Sunday, July 28, at approximately 12:30, a Deputy met with the complainant at the LEC.  This was in reference to a theft report and investigation.

On July 29, at about 12:45 hours, a Deputy spoke with a man (victim) who stated he believes someone took his Obama phone from his mail box.  The man stated he had seen an older Caucasian female and two younger Caucasian females standing by his mailbox.

On Monday, July 29, at approximately 15:10, a Deputy was dispatched to an address on Highway 279 in reference to a harassment report and investigation.
