Brownwood News – The following calls were responded to by Brownwood Police and included on the Offense and Incident Report on Wednesday, July 31.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, Officers responded to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive in relation to a female who assaulted two residents. After speaking to the two complainants, a report was generated.

On Thursday, July 25, 2019 at approximately 2030 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the intersection of Main St and Baker St in reference to an accident involving three vehicles.  The officer arrived on scene and made contact with the involved parties. A report has been generated.

On Monday, 7/29/19 at 1617 hrs, an Officer was dispatched to 401 W. Commerce (Wal-Mart) in reference to criminal mischief. A report was generated at the request of the complainant.  At time of report, the suspect is unknown.  Nothing further.

While on patrol on July 29, 2019, at approximately 2050 hours, a Police Corporal was dispatched to the 300 block of Center Avenue in reference to Assault. Subjects were interviewed and a report for assault was made.

On Monday, July 29, 2019 at approximately 2306 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of 5th St in reference to an assault. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with all of the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and a report has been made.

On Tuesday July 30, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview for a report of a theft. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at approximately 1936 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Booker St in reference to a motor vehicle accident.  The officer arrived on scene and spoke with multiple subjects on scene in regards to the incident. An investigation was conducted, an arrest was made, and a report has been generated.

On 07/30/19, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in the 1700 block of Magnolia in regards to someone being harassed over the phone, which resulted in a report for harassment being generated.

While on patrol on July 30, 2019 at approximately 2330 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Bond in reference to Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Officers met with the complainant and a report for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle was made.
