Brownwood News – The following calls appear on the Offense and Incident Report from the Brownwood Police Department:

On Friday, 7/19/19, at 1417 hrs, officer was contacted via dispatch and was directed to contact complainant via phone in reference to fraud.  A report was generated at the request of the complaint and a suspect identified.  Nothing further.

On 7/19/19, at approximately 1706 hrs, an officer was dispatched to a north Brownwood business in the 400 block of West Commerce in reference to theft. Upon investigation, a woman was arrested and booked into the Brown County Jail without incident for theft with a previous conviction.

On Saturday, July 20, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Baker for a report of Family Violence. During the investigation a clear aggressor could not be determined. Information was gathered from scene and report was generated.

On Saturday, July 20, 2019 at approximately 1210 hours, an officer arrived at 1050 West Commerce, Law Enforcement Center.   The officer was dispatched to the building in reference to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The interview was conducted in the complaint room and recorded.

On Saturday, July 20, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Duke St. for a report of criminal mischief. Information was gathered from the scene and a report was generated.

On Saturday, July 20, 2019 at approximately 1508 hours, an officer arrived at 401 West Commerce, Walmart.  The officer was dispatched to the store in reference to theft.

On Saturday, July 20, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Commerce for a report of theft. When officers arrived, information was gathered and a report was generated.

On Sunday, July 21, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive for a report of a hit and run. It was discovered a vehicle stuck one of the structures during the early morning hours of 7/21/19 and left the scene without leaving insurance paperwork. Information was gathered from the scene and a report was generated.

On Sunday, July 21, 2019, Officers responded to 1500 Block of Dublin in reference to lawn ornaments being stolen. After speaking to the complainant a report was generated.

On 07/21/19, Brownwood PD was dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center in regards to two children being brought in by their mother which resulted with an information report being generated.
