Brown Co. Commissioners to Meet Monday Morning – Agenda Posted

Brownwood News – Brown County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 am Monday, July 22, in Commissioner’s Courtroom in the Brown County Courthouse.  The agenda is as follows:

  1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
  2. Prayer
  3. Citizen Comments

(Any resident of Brown County may speak before the court on any agenda item. Any topic to be addressed that is not on the agenda may be heard with the approval of a majority of the Court present. No presentation shall last longer than five minutes. All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on October 6, 2014. The court members may not respond to any speaker making a citizen comment.

  1. Consideration and approval of minutes of July 15th, 2019.
  2. Presentation of Treasurer’s/ Auditor’s Report.
  3. Consideration and Approval of Payment of any bills needed
  4. Consideration and Approval of all appropriate action regarding the following:
  5. Mr. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1 – Consideration and possible approval of a resolution to perform equivalent-match projects in return for waiver of a local match fund participation requirement on CR201;
  6. Mr. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1- Consideration and possible approval of a resolution to perform equivalent-match projects in return for waiver of a local match fund participation requirement on CR226;
  7. Mr. Gary Worley, Commissioner Pct. 1- Consideration and possible approval of a resolution to perform equivalent-match projects in return for waiver of a local match fund participation requirement on CR267;
  8. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;
  9. Mr. Joel Kelton, Commissioner Pct. 2 – Consideration and possible approval of a resolution to perform equivalent-match projects in return for waiver of a local match fund participation requirement on CR120;
  10. Bob Contreras, Coordinator Grants & Government Affairs – Consideration and possible approval to apply for Unclaimed Property Capital Credit for Counties (spon cj);
  11. Jennifer Robison, County Auditor- Consideration and possible approval to declare surplus equipment (spon cj);
  12. Adjournment
