Myrtie B. Hyden Storey, 83

Myrtie B. Hyden Storey, 83, of Coleman, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Coleman County Medical Center.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.

Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Posey officiating.  Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Myrtie Bell Coffee on August 22, 1935 in Owens, Brown County, Texas to Robert Alonzo Coffee and Myrtle Amy Jacobs Coffee.  She grew up and attended school in Brown and Coleman Counties.  On August 26, 1953, she married Lummie Leo Hyden in Owens.  She worked at Dal-Tile for several years.  In her later years, she worked for Girling Health Care, providing care for elderly residents in their home.  Myrtie was a member Brazos Street Mission Church in Coleman.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Jackie Row and husband, Robert, of Smithfield, North Carolina, Teresa Moore of Abilene; four sons, Leon Hyden and wife, Kathy, of Early, David Hyden and wife, Debra of Mason, Joe Frank Hyden of Coleman and Terry Hyden of Coleman.  Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Danny Hyden and one daughter Sherry Hyden.

Memorials in memory of Myrtie made be made to the Allen Center at Holiday Hill, P. O. Box 392, Coleman, Texas 76834.
