Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Department Offense and Incident Report released on Wednesday, July 10, includes the following calls:

On 7/8/2019 at approximately 1200 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive for a call of agency assist. Police generated an information report.

On Monday, July 8, 2019, at approximately 1609 hours, an officer was dispatched to a suspicious circumstance located at Avenue K at Brook Ln. Upon dispatch, the officer was informed that three juveniles were arguing with an elderly couple in the middle of the street.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, the Brownwood Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a white passenger car for speeding over the limit and failing to signal change of lanes.  At the conclusion of the traffic stop, a female was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

On 7/9/2019, at approximately 0800 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vincent Street for a call of burglary of a habitation. Police met with complainant and a report was made for burglary of a habitation.

On Tuesday, July 09, 2019, at approximately 1222 hours, an officer was dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 200 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a theft. Upon arrival, an investigation and a report was completed.

On 7/9/2019, at approximately 1500 hour, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 12th Street for a fraud call. Police made a report for fraud.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at approximately 2000 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce St. in reference to a theft of property report. A report has been generated and one citation issued.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, the Brownwood Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Waco Street in reference to a suspicious call. At the conclusion of the investigation, a man was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and evading arrest/detention.

On 7-10-19, at approximately 19:00 hrs, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to 300 Center Ave in reference to animal cruelty. An active report was generated.

On 7-9-19, at approximately 2015 hrs, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to 1105 3rd St in reference to a domestic disturbance. Both parties were separated at the scene and an active report was generated.
