PD Makes Arrests for Family Violence

Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by the Brownwood Police Department and included in the Offense and Incident Report.

On July 5, 2019, at 0917 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Carnegie in reference to a business that had sustained damage during the overnight hours. A possible suspect was named.

On July 5, 2019, at 1225 hours, Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Santa Clara Drive, in reference to a physical domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of a male subject for Assault w/ Injury – Family Violence.

On July 5, 2019 at 1431 hours, an Officer was dispatched to 1500 Davis Lane in reference to a female that had been scammed out of money over Facebook Messenger.

On Saturday, July 6, 2019 at approximately 0925 hours, an officer and Corporal of Brownwood PD were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 1400 block of North Waco regarding a burglary that had occurred. Upon arrival an investigation and an arrest was made.

On July 6, 2019 at 1221 hours, a Brownwood Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Indian Creek Drive in reference to an assault that had occurred across the street. This call led to the arrest of a male subject for Continuous Assault Against the Family.

On Sunday, July 07, 2019 at approximately 1114 hours, an officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in the 3200 block of Stephen F. Austin regarding a theft. Upon arrival an investigation and a report was completed.
