Allyson K. Moon, 58

Allyson K. Moon, age 58, of Ovalo, passed from this life on June 29, 2019 in San Angelo, Texas.

She was born Allyson K. Jackson on January 26, 1961 in Coleman, Texas to Thomas Wesley Jackson and Ann Glasson Jackson.  She attended school in Coleman through the third grade, and then attended school in Brownwood, graduating from Brownwood High School.  Allyson married Jesse Moon on May 21, 1983 in Brownwood, Texas and was the secretary for the Brown County Sheriff’s office for many years.  She was a member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Brownwood.

Allyson is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Moon; and father, Wes Jackson.

Allyson is survived by her mother, Ann Jackson; brother, Bret Jackson; her loving companion in life, Ronnie “Tooter” Baynes; several nieces and nephews, Heather and Josh Dennis, Landon Hinds, Maleyiah, Mark and Jaxon; several great nieces and great nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.  A private family graveside service will take place at the Coleman City Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
