BRMC’s Senior Circle Book Club met June 27th with Marjorie Herrera Lewis to discuss her book “When The Men Were Gone.”   Lewis shared with the group how she met the great niece of the books main character, Tylene Wilson, in an Arizona doctor’s office.  She also shared stories of her times as a beat writer for the Dallas Cowboys along with how she researched and wrote her debut novel.  Lewis presently teaches media ethics at the University of North Texas.
