Gregory Alan Cunningham, 52, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Saturday night, June 22, 2019 in Round Rock, Texas surrounded by family.  A graveside service is planned for Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Jenkins Springs cemetery, Early, Texas at 10:00 AM officiated by Pastor Danny Marney and under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

Greg was born September 2, 1966 to Wilburn Franklin and Marylin JoAnn (Westerman) Cunningham in Brownwood, Texas.  He was the 3rd oldest of five children; Tommy DeWayne Cunningham, Monty Franklin Cunningham, Kerry Lynn Cunningham and Lisa Ann Jowers (Cunningham).  Greg met his wife of 33 years, Victoria (Vickie) Lynn Garner in Brownwood, Texas.  He attended school in Bangs, Texas.  Greg was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.  At a young age, Greg began his lifetime career in the automotive industry.  Greg enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as listening to country music, playing dominos, BBQing, watching Dallas Cowboys football and westerns.  Greg was a simple man and is remembered as a brave, strong-minded, dependable, cut-loose individual.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Vickie; daughter, Alaina DeAnn Cunningham; son, Christopher Alan Cunningham; one grandchild, Aubree Grace Williams; two brothers, Monty and Kerry; sister, Lisa; uncles, Fred Allen Westerman and Larry Paul Westerman and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Tommy DeWayne Cunningham.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Compassus Hospice Care and St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center for their loving care during his final days.
